Overview
The Grace Village Care Foundation is a private, non-profit organization that receives no government funding, which makes community support absolutely essential to our mission. Our Foundation was created to ensure that Grace Village can continue providing a warm, compassionate, and high-quality home for seniors — both now and in the future.
Through fundraising initiatives, partnerships, and the generosity of donors, we are able to invest in the growth of our facilities, the improvement of our infrastructure and equipment, and the development of programs that enrich the daily lives of our residents. These contributions help us maintain a safe, modern, and nurturing environment where seniors can thrive socially, emotionally, and physically.
Your continued support allows us to go beyond basic care. It helps us create meaningful experiences, enhance comfort, and ensure that residents feel valued, respected, and at home. Every donation, no matter the size, directly impacts the well-being of our residents and enables us to uphold the high standards of care that Grace Village is known for.

Our Funds
The Dr. Klinck fund continues the original vision of Dr. W. J. Klinch 6 decades ago: Supporting seniors who require the care that Grace Village provides, but whose financial situation might make such care inaccessible (as funds permit and within updated guidelines).
Dedicated to improving the quality of life of our Grace Village seniors through the funding of various GV projects and equipment.
The Best Use Fund provides Grace Village with the flexibility to direct support where it is needed most. This fund allows us to respond quickly to the most pressing priorities—whether that means enhancing resident care, improving facilities, investing in staff training, or supporting new initiatives that strengthen the well-being of our community.
By contributing to the Best Use Fund, donors empower Grace Village to allocate resources wisely and proactively, ensuring that every gift has immediate and meaningful impact. This fund is essential for addressing unforeseen needs, seizing timely opportunities, and maintaining the high standard of care and services that our residents deserve.
GVCF 2025 Annual Campaign
Once again, we are delighted to launch our 2025 Annual Campaign and invite you to join us in bringing joy to the lives of our residents. Your contributions open new doors of possibility, ensuring that every senior can enjoy safety, dignity, and a true sense of belonging each and every day.
Over the past year, we have taken important steps to enhance the safety and quality of life of the residents at Grace Village. Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to make meaningful improvements to this place that, for many, is more than just somewhere to live — it is a true home, where laughter is shared, memories are cherished, and dignity is preserved.
We warmly invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our seniors. Together, we can continue to nurture a community built on compassion, connection, and care.
This year, we are striving to attain a goal of $300,000 to further our mission and support the seniors of Grace Village. We are excited to announce that the first $100,000 donated towards this year’s Annual Campaign will be matched by a generous anonymous donor, doubling the impact of your contribution. Together, we can reach this milestone and make a significant difference.

Gifts of appreciated securities offer a powerful way to support Grace Village while maximizing your tax benefits. Under Canadian legislation, capital gains tax is eliminated on donations of publicly traded securities made directly to registered charities. By choosing to give securities, you not only make a meaningful impact—you also receive a charitable tax receipt for the full market value of the securities on the date the gift is made.

Do you want to give, but it’s not the right time? With estate giving, also known as planned giving, you can plan in advance the amount and the cause to which you wish to give. This option allows you to choose how you wish to dispose of your assets, in all conscience, and benefit from tax advantages.

Donations of services or products are also a great way to show your generosity. We accept works of art, books, stamps or any item of value.
Tax receipts in accordance with the standards set by the Canada Revenue Agency for donations of items and certain types of services, can be issued to you.
