A One-of-a-kind Residence
At Grace Village, our mission is to create a true home—a modern space equipped with state-of-the-art amenities to ensure comfort and meet the unique needs of every resident. Whether you prefer solitude or companionship, engaging activities or peaceful walks, this is a place where life is simply good.
Each resident brings their own story and experiences, making our community truly special. We are honored to welcome these incredible individuals into our extended family, providing them with a warm, supportive environment where they can live comfortably and confidently despite life’s challenges.
As a non-profit organization, Grace Village receives no government funding. It exists thanks to the generosity of individuals, local communities, and charitable organizations who believe in our mission.

Our living space
At Grace Village, we’re known above all for the quality of care we offer and the attention we pay to each and every one of our residents.
Located in Sherbrooke’s Lennoxville Borough, Grace Village was built on 60 acres to offer our residents and their loved ones an enchanting natural setting, with secure gardens and an impressive pine forest behind the care building. Inside the facilities, you’ll find welcoming, luminous rooms, as well as large activity halls. Here, everyone has their own space and can receive as many visitors as they wish. This is your home, and we’re at your service.
The main care pavilion currently features 120 rooms, offering comprehensive and progressive care services, including nursing care and specialized care for cognitive loss. In addition, we have four nearby semi-detached full-floor units for independent seniors.
Residents can participate in a variety of events, workshops and activities (exercises, crafts, games, social outings, etc.) according to their desire and motivation. Several areas, such as the library and hairdressing salon, are always also accessible to meet your needs.

A distinctive approach
We offer services that evolve according to each individual’s needs and level of autonomy, and which are offered in the different wings of our residence:
- Independent or autonomous living
- Semi-independent living
- Basic nursing care
- Advanced nursing care
- Convalescence, respite, palliative and end-of-life care
We collaborate with a number of professionals who also offer a wide range of therapeutic services such as music therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, foot care and dental hygiene.

Testimonials
It all began...
In 1957, Dr. W. J. Klinck and a group of visionary Estrians realized that the needs of our seniors were not being met in their community and decided to take action. They created the Grace Home (now Grace Village) and the Connaught Home to provide a living space with quality care, delivered by a passionate team in a warm environment.
Initially, services were offered only to English-speaking people. Over the years, Grace Village has evolved into a bilingual facility that also welcomes many French-speaking residents. However, the Village retains its original identity and vocation, serving the English-speaking community of the Eastern Townships.
Dr. Klinck and our founders were committed to providing people in need with quality care and an approach based on understanding and listening, to recreate a family cocoon. This approach remains a key element of our mission to this day.
Over the years, Grace Village has continued to ensure the quality of its services by maintaining high standards of care and adopting state-of-the-art expertise and equipment. We offer students from many of the region’s post-secondary education programs the opportunity to train with us in nursing, licensed practical nursing, specialized care, psychology and geriatric research. So, we continue to be true to the vision that motivated our founders, and to apply their core values to our work every day.
